For example, the Empowering Direct Reports module addresses the definition of empowerment & is focused on the 4 elements of empowerment (Authority, Connections, Guidance & Clarity). Managers have a preferred go-to element based on their DiSC style. They should strive to become comfortable with all 4 elements to elevate their direct reports to make them feel empowered & to help their direct reports to stretch beyond the element that comes naturally to them. Leaders develop a customized empowerment plan for a direct report that they can use back on the job. They can log back into the website to create empowerment plans for additional direct reports following the session.
