The DiSC© personality assessment consists of 80 questions & takes 15-20 minutes to complete. After completing the assessment, individuals receive a report detailing their unique personality style, information about what drives them, how they interact with other DiSC© styles, & keys to building better relationships.
Companies utilize DiSC© assessments for employees’ personal development, to build stronger teams & workplace collaboration, to improve workplace culture, to develop effective conflict management, & to help hire the right people. DiSC© provides a common language for individuals to better understand themselves & those with whom they interact. There are 4 main DiSC© styles:
D – folks who tend to be confident & focused on bottom-line results
i – those who are optimistic & love connecting with others
S – individuals who are even-tempered & accommodating
C – people who focus on the details/processes & take great pride in accuracy
Some individuals have a blended style, which falls near the border of 2 of the 4 main DiSC© styles, & shares traits of both styles (i.e., DC, iS, SC). There is no one style that is better than another, & all 4 styles are needed in every workplace.
